Knight in Shining Armor

Valiant efforts shine through the night
And the hope I carry will too
I'll rescue you from the tower
And love you deeply hour by hour

Saving you is just a fairy tale
But your heart is in need
Of a person for it to occupy
I promise you, I will succeed

Upon my trusty steed
I ride into the starry night
To protect you from the waking world
I will always fight

I love you with all my heart
I proclaim to you this day
So take my hand as we both stand
And walk into the fray

Saving you was a simple task
By no means am I a charmer
But you will always see me
As your knight in shining armor
