One Last Rose ~Lillibonelle Poetry~
One luscious red rose in the deadening nightLeft for the purest eyes that can see
Our burning love now silenced; can't ignite
My wandering soul finally free
Left for the purest eyes that can see
The brightest rose silently dropping petals
Only the darkness and silence comforts thee
Precious thoughts entwined with precious metals
Our burning love now silence; can't ignite
Blood drips from the rose onto the table
Never was there an argument or fight
I would reappear and love if I were able
My wandering soul finally free
Love is forever watching your delight
You were the lock and I was the key
One luscious red rose in the deadening night
