Life-poem #2
all the joys, the woes, the fears
Stuck in a moment
caught in a groove
The hands of time seem not to move
The grains of sand slip through the glass
and all these memories shall pass
The world moves on and so shall we
Through good, through bad, with harmony
A subtle smile,
crys in the night,
a stolen moment of delight
All these things shall one day go
into a tome, a simple shrine
an epitaph that stands in time
A scrapbook full of faded pages,
dates and names, forgotten faces,
A single volume writ not read
and on the front two simple words
bold and clear
My Life.

A place In Time
Seems like a thousand yearsall the joys, the woes, the fears
Stuck in a moment
caught in a groove
The hands of time seem not to move
The grains of sand slip through the glass
and all these memories shall pass
The world moves on and so shall we
Through good, through bad, with harmony
A subtle smile,
crys in the night,
a stolen moment of delight
All these things shall one day go
into a tome, a simple shrine
an epitaph that stands in time
A scrapbook full of faded pages,
dates and names, forgotten faces,
A single volume writ not read
and on the front two simple words
bold and clear
My Life.
