Cheating has a bitter taste and sadly it's spreading like a disease that kills our relations .This poem is like a voice of borken heart of a woman deceived by her love.I wish you love it.

40) End of the Story

Yes, I withdrew.
I saw all the curtains falling, to tell you the truth.
I walked to the door,
Willingly opened the gate and headed to home.

I retreated and announced your victory.
After been treated with cheating,
I tasted the misery.

Don expect me to go back.
Don even wait for my shadow to pass by.
I witnessed with my own eye my love's outcome.

And the shock was so hard to overcome.
The white sheets told me the whole story,
The scent of flowers,
Called the worry
Your voice addressing hers
And movement of your body towards hers
Wrote the end of the story.

Lavender
A truly telling poem that says just enough and does not need to say more to express a stirring though. Well done, kind poet!

yeah i was supposed to go to bed, but can't sleep... so, i'll comment now :)

eh yeah... this kind of dishonesty in a relationship just breaks everything... betrayal just surges as a feeling, hard to rebuild a good set of feelings once that's felt... i'd do the same, i'd just leave... this is a very good text... i really like how you employed "End of story"... the stanza leading to that line is really the one i like the best... how you wrote it to describe how the end of the story was "written" was really neat... :f *hug* xx
