In November 1975, Pier Paolo Pasolini was murdered in Ostia. The circumstances of his death remain clouded in mystery and controversy. He was acknowledged as one of Italy's greatest 20th. Century Poets.

un ragazzo di vita

Pasolini
I felt your
presence
last night
striding down
the Corso
coat flowing
collar turned
heading
into darkness
that night
in Ostia
your body
was crushed
ground into
dirt
but all
and nothing
changed
your
poetry

Peter, I have been away from Poetbay for a while. I am overwhelmed to see this tribute to PPP on my return. His story has always fascinated me. Grazie mille.
I hope you are enjoying life, often you are in my thoughts and prayers. with love, N.

death cannot change the value of the important things in life...and this tribute to P.P.P. expresses this idea in an excelent way
