One of many sketches of Lisbon, that most beautiful and enchanting of places
colours
steepslippery
white
steps
black
iron lamps
and
rails
blue houses
red roofs
in evening
light
aglowing
blind corners
lost perspectives
flags pulled
tight by
wind
in ageless
streets
we aged
tonight
absorbed
by stone
dark
olive trees
bougainvillea
bright
by purple
columbine
seduced
to rest
beneath
the gentle
camelia
as crickets
cricket
