hope

Above
the darkling
road,
Orion strides.

The night
is bold black,
dark
beyond
imaginings.

Once more,
I secret
my way,
under cover
of
bleakness.

Beside me
the ink black
sea,
calm
after
Atlantic
rage.

A gull startles.

Down the
boreen,
a candle
flickers.

You are there.

There is
hope.

Wow! I liked the style. This is a lovely poem and it reminded me this'' While there's life ,there is a hope'' and I made up something new,'' While you're there , there are more hopes''
:D
