This one i wrote in memory of my mother who died in 2002,

Moving on

The vehicle is now locked
And the driver has moved on
Although the body was knocked
The job is now done
You were always there to help us all
To pick us up when we would fall
As triangles are you were the peak
To give advice that we would seek
The promotion you wanted is there for you
A lighter task is what your due
Another job in another place
And the people there you will embrace
Brighter times are now ahead
And you can fly your wings are spread
A clear sky is what you see
The chains are gone now you are free
The light of the torch that shone around
The laughing voice, that happy sound
Is moving on
