photographs

photos
tucked
into
drawers
images
too painful
to ignore
show
bright and hopeful
faces lost
across
the sea
as dead
to me
but not
to thee
as we stand
on the
brackeny bank
bounded
by water
on both flanks
the fuschia
bend
their tender arms
dropping
tears
of blood
tears
of
love
tears
of
sorrow
for family
gone

I like the way you blend feelings
with the natural elements around you,
to make them in to little lyrical gems!

I just love your style!
Truely poetic!

What a beautiful and tender, yet in parts painful write ... telling of the way family lives on ... in one way and in another is gone forever ...

It can be so much pain as we watch photos .... so much love and then again so much indifference ... depending on the one who beholds these images captured, frozen in time ,,,

photos are very special and I always find myself telling stories when I see persons and places unknown to me .... time is a strange thing ... images of souls lost in time even stranger ,,,

I liked your poem very much ... thank you !!!!!!!!
