just for me

rattling
and
roaring
down
the lane
across
the moor
with
Jimmy Spain
we buck
and brake
as rocks
and rams
rear
into view
as gears
grind hard
and doors
slide
open
shut
as steep
incline
gives way
to
gentle
ford
my life
seems short
these fifty
years
as on
the edge
of my
known world
he waves
his arms
a point
to make
and leaves
the steering
to God

yet
I
am not
afraid

for down
the valley
cross that
sea
you
are
waiting
yes
You
are
waiting
just
for
me

I find the lane/Spain and sea/me rhymes, in conjunction with the rhythms, most pleasant!

..and placing our trust in life we go down steeps and cut sharp corners more easely ... and if there is someone waiting to catch us if we fall it is even a more safe journey ....

a lovely write and I find the word trust written in its lines

best wishes
