After the storm

Somewhere beyond the horizon
something is clearing up,
beyond the hurricane waves
a ship is coming in
after shipwrecks and losses galore
after the storm of the blackest clouds,
and on the shore someone is waiting.
What corpses aboard, what losses,
how many are missing never to be found?
It doesn't matter. The only important thing
is that the storm is over and the ship is back,
whether with bad news or good,
for better or for worse
is nothing compared to the one fact
that at least someone has survived.

"I doesn't matter" -- except for the mishap on 'it', this is a beautifully written peice of art.
