72) Just Last Night
We didn't talk.We spent the night hugging as bodies and thoughts.
We didn't comment.
Our eyes sent their flashes and then the messages were sent.
We didn't fight.
Our fingers were dancing splendidly in each palm.
We felt unconscious towards time,
For we were in the same position til the daylight.
We didn't read,
But the vocabulary of love
Were spelled as we smelled and breathed.
We were very close,
Closer than the beats to hearts
The fingers to nails.
And that closeness wrote the romance's tale
Just last night, we showed what love means.
