too late for Venus
Mars wasin Gemini
last night
as sweep
on sweep
Broadhaven's
Light cast
white on bleak
black foam
and deep within
our warm wet cave
orgasmic moans
and rolling stones
cast music for
silent ears
we people
of the darkling
land yet roam
where human
order ceased
and such as is
the law of man
is cleft 'tween
rock and spume
'neath never ending sky
too late for Venus
too soon for Jove
we twin
ourselves
with heaven
