This was written at a time when I was really hurt and angry that my efforts were not being acknowledged. Life had lead me to many dark places, but I was trying to move past them....
leads me on.
Stumbling towards the peace of not knowing,
past the places where I've turned,
and found myself wounded.
Promises seduce me,
with their possibility in tommorrow...
that I might find myself traveling beyond,
the silent things my heart is saying.
As much as I've dreamed of leaving this place,
and locking myself away inside a denial,
where I am out of place,
seems likely to me,
the world to you where I belong,
lead footed with burden, and tainted by love.
Fated by mercy,
my sense to rise above proves nothing to you,
except another chance for disillusion.
Blindness will always seem,
the way through wich we'll travel,
until we find we've stumbled beyond,
this place that life has lead us.

The Place Life Has Lead Us
The temptation of a blind eye, leads me on.
Stumbling towards the peace of not knowing,
past the places where I've turned,
and found myself wounded.
Promises seduce me,
with their possibility in tommorrow...
that I might find myself traveling beyond,
the silent things my heart is saying.
As much as I've dreamed of leaving this place,
and locking myself away inside a denial,
where I am out of place,

lead footed with burden, and tainted by love.
Fated by mercy,
my sense to rise above proves nothing to you,

Blindness will always seem,
the way through wich we'll travel,
until we find we've stumbled beyond,
this place that life has lead us.
