Pathway of Life
All along the pathway of life,There are various ways fully stricken with strife
Filled with the caste, community and religion hype;
Waiting for the deliverer to come and strike;
In this thick jungle of human crowd,
No one is there to hear my prayer even if I shout loud;
I find myself surrounded by a thick gloomy cloud,
In the thick jungle of human crowd;
All along to share my feeling, I search for simple souls,
Who shall share with me good thoughts and deeds for all,
The more I search the crowd, here and there I find one
Amongst the cheats, frauds & rowdy clone;
Life is there for everyone to see and feel.
Scarce has become a happy meal,
Hanging on like the roots of a banyan tree
I wait for thee to sooth the pain and heal;
I try to see beyond my distant goal,
There is no sight of a nearby shore, Nor even a single soul;
To take me beyond the unfathomed shores,
I wait for thee to take me to a sheltered shore;
I am miles away in my life, far away from my goal,
Like sailing in deep, in a lonely boat;
Here and there I see a hope, like a thick shoal,
Nearer I go I find they are no more,
I wait for thee, to show me life is much more.
