In North Wicklow, the River Dargle flows down Glencree to meet the sea at Bray Harbour. To the north, as towards Dublin, is Killiney Hill and the Vico Road.
dargle deep
river brown
flow into
tide-borne
sea
luminescent green
'gainst
an anvil sky
horizon dark
with storms
a'coming
lonely goose
lolling
herring gulls
grumbling
swans
serene
people stop
people stare
as over Vico's
gorsey brow
rainbows
burst
the
sky
