Autumn delight
For a long timeI stand still
below the clouds of autumns light
deeply as the air
I dream
I see
yellow skirts of birches
raised by aging of the fall
trunks veiled timidly
where fog softens heights
and haze illusions umber fields
distant trees drawn namelessly
in the unknown grey
hidden behind shreds of mist
straws are golden brown
in between
grass soon sprouting
springly-green
wind come undulate
the mystifying air of distance
unveil the jewelry of leaves
