The constant reunion
My friend, we see each other only once a year,
but every time it is like yesterday
since we last met and parted
just to join again, year after year,
as if all time was but a fleeting moment's nonsense
of no consequence at all,
an unimportant twinkling of an eye;
which makes all history appear as most absurd
considering the real condition of dimensions,
friendship and reunion gloriously transcending them
to never tire of reducing all eternity to nothing.
Love is all that matters,
and as long as we keep sticking to it,
we are safer than and safe from all eternity.
