equinox

over by
the Owendower
where plunge pools meet
brown trout flirt
'neath the golden leaves
of autumn
clogging
the low yet vibrant flow
tickling the air
with rills and spills
of childhood play
spring forth
with summer memories
past rowan roots
the magpie
and a tiny wren
gather in
the bitter red berries
so redolent
of winter

So descriptive Peter, I always admire how in short lines you convey so much meaning in a poem, again, another favourite for me
