Kilgalligan

Kilgalligan
O Kilgalligan
I have missed you sore
your cartwright fields
that wheel
around the blasted hills
where sand still swirls
at stone time
and currachs black
on Rinroe strand
cast shadows long
at moontime
across the bay
from tiny pier
Broad Haven's light
salvation brings
for those for whom
the Stags reek fear
and in the quiet
for seconds lasts
a silence fathoms deep
Kilgalligan
O Kilgalligan
I have missed you dear

What a lovely poem!
I need to visit Ireland, not just dream of doing so...
