Invalid invalid
Invalidity is not acceptable,
even if you are an invalid.
You have to go on working
every day with crutches,
although crippled beyond bearing,
you must just get on with it,
or else you have no more validity.
Your only hope to get out
of your invalidity
is validly to prove that you are valid
and convincingly at that,
and for that end no crutches
or invalid proof will be of any use to you.
Just get on struggling
out of all your pains and headaches
that so intolerably cripple all your life,
and you will find yourself a valid evidence
of being more than just a valid invalid.
