Evening Majesty
It's been a very long dayBeing on the lake in my canoe
I had the strength to endure time
For now, I've seen it through
A campfire to end the day
And view the mountaintops gleam white
Should be a wonderful sight
When the moon comes out tonight
My cobblestone cabin with lights aglow
Filling each room with love
I've been blessed by god himself
From the heavens and skies above
Evening Majesty is just a small pleasure
I enjoy every single day
With my wife sitting beside me
We watch god put on wondrous display
Another day has come to an end
I'm sad to see it go
I'll never understand his purpose
That's all I really know
