Better Than Thou

Those cocksure they are wonderfully unique
With their 'better than thou' personality
Impressed with their own conceived mystique
Are distant from truth and reality

A prize to be cherished is self-esteem
But conceit is a contradictory mate
Self-love and self-esteem at opposite extremes
In reality do not relate
