Captured
You have really captured my heart
Yet you don't even realize
That your subtle beauty is infinite
Like a diamond in disguise
All the nights I've spent sleeping
And all the days I've been awake
The one thought on my mind
Is it your heart that I will take?
You have captured a love so pure
Like the peaks softest snow
The words you speak are gentle
Like a rivers simple flow
You have captured my attention
All I can do is admire
And watch the radiance you exude
Work and spark the fire
In my heart, in my soul
All the words that I feel
They aren't enough to express
Just how I really feel
You have captured, what for many
Is a fleeting and endless emotion
And your acknowledgment of such
To me is one powerful notion
