Love makes its own rules

Love Notes

Love absorbed in burnished timbre
Melodiously whispers seductive compositions
Ever evolving from daily temporal
Measurements of timeless supposition

That age somehow alludes
To a calendar that does not exist
Twisting psyche with false conclusions
When shared communion contradicts

Norms construed as meaningless
Diction enunciated as superfluous
Passion perceived as limitless
Sentience suggested as purposeless

Emotional congruence of souls
Plays its own chords
Constructs its own notes
Parlays its own words

Constructs its own song
Innocent in its infancy
Of perceptions viewed as conformed
Where there is only one reality

Excellent! Love certainly isn't something we consciously control, or is it? :-)

Wow.I love this, Kee. That last line is perfect in its place, especially in context to the rest of the poem. I love your descriptions of love ramblings penned on paper. All the lines are super fine, but one in particular that I like is the "emotional congruence of souls" - planing on the same brainwaves in one reality. I am definately saving this one, my romantic friend. :)
