I wrote this for my second Grandchild, we nearly lost her soon after she was born and it was as though she came to us but forgot to pick up her soul, so she needed to return to where she had come from to retrieve it.
Although it seemed your soul was stranded
In the place where you came from
In a place where all is one
Little angel
Granddads' angel
Little angel
Angel of mine
My heart breaks when I hear her crying
But when she laughs my world is flying
To the place where she came from
To the place where all is one
Little angel
Granddads' angel
Little angel
Angel of mine

Angel of Mine
I saw you fold your wings as you landedAlthough it seemed your soul was stranded
In the place where you came from
In a place where all is one
Little angel

Little angel

My heart breaks when I hear her crying
But when she laughs my world is flying
To the place where she came from
To the place where all is one
