While out walking my dogs I got talking to a lady who lives round the corner from me, the conversation got onto the songs I write and she told me about a young man that was dying of leukaemia close by. She asked if I could write something for his parents
Make the bad times fade away
Remember the good times
Will get us through this day
So sleep peaceful now son
For your journey must begin
Don't worry for us son
For someday we'll meet again
We'll hear your voice when the wind blows
Feel your tears when it rains
And your face when the sun sets
Will be forever in our dreams
