Love's supremity
Love demands expansion,
free expansion evermore,
and no one has the right to stop it,
and, indeed, no one is able to.
Love therefore seems to be of forces the most ruthless,
but love is not love if it resorts to violence.
The magic and the force of love
is always to get through but without all enforcement,
always getting over with it and surviving
as the very element of life's survival and expansion;
and whoever tries to stop or to oppose it
is a self-destructive fool
incapable of education and instruction,
since if he does not know love,
he is a hopeless case of total ignorance.
