Bridges with Glitches

A U.S. bridge was built going nowhere
A span only for those who wish to go there
To be perfectly honest, though
This bridge isn't known for its traffic flow

In England, bridges of nursery rhyme fame
Were built to cross over the river Thames
But somehow or other they kept falling down
Causing bridge mayhem in old London town

The Brits and Yanks know how to build bridges
Particularly bridges with these kinds of glitches
To understand their problem, here's the real story
The builders stay drunk from too much liquori

The light spirited humour at the end polished the poem beautifully. An interesting topic to write about, also. Keep writing, Stan. 5/5.

Your friend,
John.
