Caretaking
How shall I love you?
My capacity is not enough,
and I can't always reach you
since you are so volatile and fleeting as a dream,
too beautiful to be intruded on and importuned,
too delicate and vulnerable to be touched
and too exquisite not to be with constancy adored and loved.
They say that femininity is frailty and weakness,
but I think it is the other way around –
the more profound its spirituality, the stronger,
and that's where we have the obligation of persistent adoration:
spirituality is beauty and is life,
and the more beautiful, the more reliable and generous its life,
which it's our duty to maintain, sustain and entertain
protectively with our lives andloving care and adoration.
