Fairytales

She looked at herself in the mirror and laughed,
Laughed over what the year had taught her,
And over the lessons yet to come,
Forced to live out of her fairytales,
Forced to lose the innocence of her mind,
She wanted to go back to the land where,
Everything was beautiful again,
Where trust was easily given,
And love meant something,
Where there wasn't evil existing inside others,
Inside herself,
She looked at herself in the mirror and laughed,
Because she couldn't go back to her fairytales again....
