I really like this poem, and I really don't know why. It's kind of sad and kind of strange, but something about the last two lines makes it seem one of those songs that you listen to when you can't decide if you need to go running through the rain or if you need to take a nap or if you really ought to be writing a poem.

=) I just realized what the title actually says, which makes your poem not really the same topic, and I like this interpretation even better.

more gushing praise: these three poems make me ridiculously happy and I feel like they should be attached to each other somehow, as an Ode to My Family or something. A triptych. That is a good word. this is a great poem

It works really well three line stanzas.
I think the title is ok--it doesn't give away the poem's true sentiments, which makes reading it more interesting.
