This is to my daughter who turns 21 soon.
We knew things would not be the same
For we knew there was a reason
The day that you came
You had it rough at first
You did'nt know where you belonged
And we wondered why it had come about
But in the end, it all worked out
We knew as you grew
With your cute little ways
And your big smile that you gave
You would always amaze
Then came the time
For you to go your own way
Which we hoped that time never had came
But we knew you could'nt stay
So now you have grown
And have gone to get a life of your own
But there is one thing I think I oughta
Say to you My Friend, Our Daughter
Is now you are a woman, Chris
And that we're so proud and grateful
To know that you can stand by yourself
And thank you for the joy you have given us
So once again, I think I oughta
Thank you
My Friend
Our Daughter.
