Then and now

Then...

A life
filled with sadness
sorrow
and goodbyes

A life
wandering around
with heavy steps
unreachable skies

A life
trapped inside
betrayed
and with
tears in my eyes

~That was then......~

Now...

A new life
filled with joy
happiness
and more love
I could ever possibly
hope for

A new life
with tenderness
sweetness
and a lot of affection
and caress

A new life
With love
offering
an amazing emotional
journey
that only makes
me love him
more
and more

~That´s now~

Lavender
A splendid contrast and one that makes me so glad for you. Radiant happiness demonstrated in such happy lines in the second half of this sweet poem! I am so glad to meet you, dear poet!
