After divorce..
too scared to move on..
Or will I walk away, yet again with a broken heart
Seems as though love has struck, for it's never too late
Could it be the turning wheel of life or fate
Those striking eyes, vivacious smile and lips so smooth
Keeps me captivated and guessing with your every move
Strong muscular arms that holds me tight
I never want you to go, I will even put up a fight
Many months and years I went down on my knees to pray
Maybe He had a motive for sending you my way
My feelings are strong, patience I will endure
You're more than just my friend, I know, I am sure
Staring out my window I see a reflection of your face
I don't want anyone to ever take your place
When you hold my hand I feel no pain
I want to walk beside you through sunshine and rain
Everything fits like a puzzle, there's just no gap
Who knows what will be, the future has no map
I found true happiness, there's no debate
Side-by-side, hand-in-hand, with you, my soul mate

too scared to move on..
My Soul Mate
Is this a beginning, a brand new startOr will I walk away, yet again with a broken heart
