I Cannot Tell
There is no mindThere are no eyes
Can't see myself
I must be blind
There is no time
There are no hours
No minutes, no seconds
No clock has power
There is no future
There is no past
The present is moving so very fast
Can't tell when it is left or right
Which direction is day or night
Is that my phone outside that sings?
Is that a bird beside that rings?
I am so hungry, I am so parched
I am so thirsty, I am so starved
When did I cease to exist
l can't remember, I can't resist
To crawl inside a bed so warm
Broken, from reality torn
Into a second life I drift
to awaken again in dream's mist
Or is this life?
I cannot tell...
