Right and Left
I feel I am a simple manI feel like quite the fool
And though I have been given gifts
I sometimes long for more
This gift that sits on my right hand
Does always fight the left
So in a daze it leaves me be
And also quite bereft
I calculate a simple sum
Of numbers rather plain
But then my right gift overtakes
And proves to be my bane
The numbers designate themselves
With colours primary
And then my thoughts turn themselves
To solving binary
Already strayed I easy have
From solving this equation
And when i look back to the start
I only find frustration
But quickly my thoughts take flight
Like birds outside my cage
Oh look! A pretty Woodpecker
Has taken center stage!
