Rocking Horse

Rocking Horse
Your rider calls
Listen to his turgid tongue
Prick your ears and hear his whine
Lash your tail and flick your mane
Kick him hard and beat him down
afore he mounts to take his crown

Rocking Horse
your rider calls
Hearken to his pompous step
Stamp your hooves and drown him out
Tell him "Neigh! you shall not ride!"
Make it known that he'll be thrown
afore he mounts to seat his throne

Rocking Horse
Your riders here
Scent his fetid, putrid breath
Flare your nose and spit it out
Buck him off and fling him clear
Then ride, ride, ride! dear horse,
Afore he steers you to his course.

Perfect rhythm and rhyming that not once misses a beat. Tense, almost horrific, force that flows like a raging river. Good poem.

Very good. At first I thought it to be a piece against horse riding, but no. I think it is about a false leader attempting to reign under manufactured circumstances. Sorry if I am wrong :)
