I'm floating down a river
I'm floating down a rivercalm and warm water noontide
staring into pale blue sky
framed with autumn leaves beside
I'm sailing through the clouds
through the fog and misty dew
incorporeal glaciers
that grew and grew and grew
I'm wandering the nebulae
the sun, the moon and stars
waltzing on the rings of Saturn
dancing jigs on Mars
I'm floating down a river
to the tune of my creator
Sweet, lyrical sonnets
are the songs of mother nature
