*Euthanasia Debate
|
|
2008-09-05 Hello Liz its been a while.
Interesting subject, l do not agree with you but l will defend your right to say what you want.
Its a very sticky sibject, one that brings out the worse in people and the fires of anger flame very hard on both sides.
MY own thinking is that when hope has truelly really gone and there is no hope at all that the person will recover, then as hard as it is you must turn off the machine.
I pray to God that none of us ever have too and my sympathies to those who have had to make that decision.
But wether we agree or not, let us pray that life is life and trust is trust and truth begats truth in all things and this euthinasia os not used for anything other than mercy, which is why l do not agree because there are people out there who will use it for, their purposes and greed.
Hope you are well Liz.

The Power of Pain

2008-08-28 Hi Kathy how are you my darling?, have not written to you for an age but you are still in my heart.
Sadness indeed is the key to move on but also joy and love can be the key to move onwards and upwards forever.
I hope you find peace and love on this planet as well as beyond.

Pessimism
|
|
2008-06-19 Hi Kath
We all feel like this from time to time, but life has a nice way of healing the wounds that hurt us for so long and in time the memory becomes a warm one.
So pessimisim is a normal part of life, but its a creature thats fades away and leaves us in peace for most of the time.

Her Secret Pocket
|
|
2008-01-14 Hi Kath
having trouble getting on this site at the moment, don't know whats gone wrong.
Your poem reflects moments from my own life when i have been betrayed by a girlfriend, abandonned left in the cold and tears have flown. and for those who are a hard in heart, men do cry and we can be hurt too. So my sympathy goes out to all those real live people who cry and feel anger when they are betrayed, they are two of the most honest emotions in the world, the most honest being love.
Excellent work Kathy, i hope this comes over and if you missed my message, a very happy new year! :)

The Little Girl Cried
|
|
2007-12-02 Kathy
as someone who was sexually abused as a youngster this rang so truth for me.
Your writing reflects the guilt that you feel, is it my fault, am i being punished? who will believe me?
In your answer is the answer, no it is not my fault, i am not guilty and the world has finally woken up to the fact that this happened to us the victims as it does now. no more hiding it away, bring it out in the open and expose it for what it is and help the healing of those of us who suffered and those who are suffering as we speak.
Bless Kathy thankyou for sharing your words and love with us.

Hells angels
|
|
2007-04-20 And when we se the demons who betray us in the reality of light, they are small insignificant little creatures that are laughable and easily removed. But first we must discover them and destroy them one by one and release our soul into the light Of God and our Saviour, dwell in his light and feel the joy of love and beauty that should be yours andc let its beauty surround you always.
I am glad you have destroyed your demons my friend and thankyou for
this wonderful piece of excellent writing.

Coming to Terms with the Past
|
|
2007-04-20 Hi Aaron, i wish i could say prejudice has changed over the years but like a shadow it lingers in the past ready to attack for no reason. Theres never a reason for prejudice, wether it be against a man beacuase his colour is different, or because a person is handicapped physically or mentally. Just becausee he or she is gay or a single parent, whatever the reason there is no excuse for the bitter twist of the knife that prejidice gives. Mccarthy , Hitler, Moseley and all the others were little people with a large chip on their shoulders, trouble is they were also great orators who could whip up a frenzy in no time at all.
Your poem captures the sadness of being on the receiving end of this saddest of sins. May we all live to see the day when such stupidity evaporates forever.
My Best Wishes to you.
Colin

It Only Takes A Drop
|
|
2007-04-17 Kath in view of what has happened in the last few days with the terrible loss of life by the hand of a murderer at the University, you can say it only takes a drop of a killers venom to destroy the beauty of lifes sweet youth.
I love your Cou8ntry and everytime i visit i find more and more to enjoy. But your gun laws are terrifying. That any person can buy a gun without being vetted is a dangerous thing to happen. Here in England there are rules and rules on rules, but still they seep through the cracks and people still are killed by gun or knife for no reason.
Your poem says it all so well and the bitter irony that man seems to enjoy killing more than he does creating peace, May God forgive us our cold nature and teach us how to live in true peace.
Colin.

Tango of passion(the hidden knife)

2007-03-02 Wow!
a lovely poem with a beautiful but savage twist in the tail.
What a rythmic piece capturing the essence of the dance as the couple twirl across the floor, one minute in love the next pushed away until finally he takes her life away.
I like this very much. I would not worry about the steps, they flow nicely.

Lock and Key
|
|
2007-02-15 Your last poem revealed your romantic side Pretty Lady.
With this one is a sadness that crawls across the sky and hides your tears in its darkness and the room holds the dark emotions you feel. The harsh cold day turns the delicate side of your nature inside and your broken heart bleeds and makes us all share in its sadness.
This is so good but very sad and i hope it is not written from experience. There is always light at the end of a tunnel, nature dictates that this is so, but sometimes when the world kicks us in the teeth we care not to see it.
May the light of love always shine in your heart.

2007-02-03 Hello Kathy, wow!
Sucha deep poem full of ups and downs and that path we choose to take leads us nowhere until we embrace the eternal sea of choce and allow it to shape and mould us into who we truelly are, unique and more precious than any diamond or trinket of gold. We are unique and eserve to be treated so, judge not the cover but read the pages ansee who we really are.
I loved this poem very much Kathy, my best wishes to you and yours.

This Path ~4th and Final Revision~
|
|
2007-02-03 Exquisite my old friend, very stunningly visual and poignant.
Takes the reader down paths he has stayed away from and watched as the dust rises in the far off horizon wondering whio or what has caused it and then continues to stay in the comfortable sleeve we trap ourselves in and the world passes us by time and time again.
|
HALF FULL OR HALF EMPTY
|
|
2007-02-03 Hi Liz, yes love does that to you. Sometimes its so light and frothy you feel you could fly round the moon and never land, sometimes its a deep dark place that entwines you with feelings of hate and frustration and that old green demon jealousy turns up and ruins the flavour.
But true love is like a summers day that goes on forver and when the sun finally sets it becomes deep crimson and red and leaves a tatse do pure theres nothing like it.
I enjoyed this a lot my Aussie Friend and well worthy of a bookmark.

2007-01-20 Kathy this is very warm and picturesque poem that conjures up a picture in my mind of a girl remembering the times pent with her lover, his smell, the way he smiled, his walk and the time spent in this idyllic place that they both love so much. Comes over as a personal memory and i wont ask anymore than that!.
I liked this very much, very enjoyable indeed.
