Friends have a way of making you vulnerable, of opening you up to trust and that precious commodity unconditional love... sometimes though, the trust and unconditional love twist and the effect is catastrophic....

Catapulted daydreams
Into depths of despair
Expressions of longing
Requiring freedom from the snare

Descent into the Otherworld
Place of torture and fear
Painless though the journey starts
Agony arises on a single tear

The voice that reverberates
Echoing through the heart
Neither knowing or caring
The torture it imparts

Harshness of vocabulary
Cause the head to bow low
Insults added to injury
Pain makes way for vertigo
