2005-07-16 Nicely done indeed!!!
I felt so sad, when I was a kid after Nam was over. Our boys were treated so badly when hey came home and their futures were ripped from them because they suffered mentally.
Serving your country was something my father was very proud to do when he went off to Korea, years before I was born. I was taught early what serving your country meant. I have so much respect for our men and now, women who serve.

2005-07-13 It has it's ups and downs and twiss and turns!!!! We try to keep them from getting hurt...the bruised knees and the bruised hearts...but we can only hide them from hurt for so long. Then all we can do is kiss the booboos and hold them when they cry.
Being a mother, this was a very emotional read for me. Done very well!!!!!

2005-07-09 he whole time I was reading this I kept thinking of the Beatles song "The Fool On The Hill".
"The chances of winning the lottery are equal to those of being thunderstruck
So the next time there's a thunderstorm, don't be afraid, abide the norm
And climb up into the highest tree you can see with as many tickets you can afford and a fourleaf clover for extra luck: ~Loved this part!!!!!

Translation of PoetBay
2005-07-09 Poetry is many things to many different people! Poetry is all relative, meaning that we all relate to one piece differently. That's what makes it so wonderful! I love this site, it's the very best i've seen yet!!!!

Dear god...
2005-07-08 Though I have respect for the poet and for the creativity of the poet I have to say that this is dangerous. We damn ourselves with our selfish acts and hatred towards whatever or whoever we disagree with.
Good flow and meter.

love
2005-07-08 First of all I love this, it's simple yet elegant!!!!
My take on this is.... Real Love will renew an old dead love., Blossom into something new and beautiful like leaves on a tree, the dead leaves will fall off and new ones will grow in place of the old when nurtured.
.not avaliable.
2005-07-08 I read this twice, getting the vision of someone with a very painful past trying to forget and that is causing even more emotional breakdown. putting old memories away.
Am I anyhwhere even close?
I mean, That is what leaps out at me.
