In this instance

2013-01-06 I love the way you poem ends,"I am locked between oceans and you". Love is a single emotion which cannot be explained even in a thousand ways...

Longing

2011-09-17 Letting go of someone is very difficult. Turn your mind towards arts, start painting it really takes long time, and can fill in the emptiness....

Poem in the Dark
2011-09-14 I love the simplicity of your style!
New to the site so thought I would offer this...
2011-09-14 I can understand that you feel so vulnerable. But, this is no exam. I bother the least about meter, structure and rhyme when I publish. You seem so hyper-sensitive to critics. Com'on, just feel free. I know that all art is craving for love. Your obsession with being "liked" is so mmuch that it could make or break your day. I advise you to read more and write more, make your language and thought-process more crisp. And experiment different styles until you develop your own.
All the best!
Today's Tomorrow...
2011-09-14 I don't believe this. Even this poem has fragments of my "future, present and past" and of "solitude" and "computer/internet". Wow!
we are lonely...
2011-09-14 Your poem also is about solitude. I am reading this only now, strange that we all are sailing in the same boat....

An Abandoned Girl's Song
2011-05-12 Never! A mother cannot abandon her little girl.
Just love the melody and the beat in it.
Beautiful message. It is sad to see that the girl child is disregarded in our part of the world. With a ratio of 700 females to every 1000 males in Haryana, they is a dearth for women.
Your poem should become the anthem of India.

Born Free

2011-05-12 This poem makes any woman so proud!

DON'T FORGET
2008-07-07 Excellently said Smitha. Yes, a husband and wife should be so many things to complete each other.
DON'T FORGET
2008-07-07 Yes, its true. A woman who can be all that you mentioned only can be a true partner for life. There are many facets to a single relation. My daughter can be my mother and grandmother too. And sometimes parents too can think or behave childishly. An excellent poem which throws light on how a human being is bonded to another human being. Beautiful!

Goodbye to Poetbay and To all My dear Friends (See you later)

2008-06-13 Every goodbye ends with an open ended question suggesting that there is hope of seeing again. So, we will meet you later. Good luck for your studies. As you said, once you perform well, you can always catch up with the bay!!

EFFIGY OF OURSELVES
2008-04-08 Thats life which is running like a pulse. But the true beauty of life is in the quality time we spend in self exploration, not just in survival.

Unspoken
2008-04-04 Lovely lines. The unsaid words are so many, that each of us can easily run into books...and yes, that familiar cologne gives a sense of togetherness...women are usually "smell-factories" and the perfume industry survives by trying to please and seduce their olfactory senses...
