Sometimes I wonder . . . *not*
2009-10-30 sounds interesting. I think fear is an absence of passion. If you have passion for somthing, you love to do that and the road to success becomes easier. But what is success in itself? Once you reach the mountain top, you must climb down. I think living a life with a passion for something is all that matters. Did Shakespeare write to be successful? I dont think so. Writing was a psssion for him I guess.

Rays of sunshine

Lost innocence - Hear me
2007-05-27 Nice piece. For me everything is not a matter of choice in life. Its a matter of my choice and its time. call it time and space. When I look at my own life, I never thouht of an academic life . I had some other dreams but time has brought me here. Now it became my life. Or mine may be a wrong sample? really thoughtful. I really dont know what shapes one's life . However, our choice plays a vital role I guess. I am a confused guy.

Hope
2007-05-22 hagi, we live a hope not a life. well written.
Solitude....
2007-05-21 wow its a beautiful piece. A soul in solitude. Creation takes place in solitude ,Tete. A great poetry comes out of great solitude. Even if everything is gone, hope always remains with you. Hope is the most intimate friend of our life. Isnt it?

Lover's Bay

2007-05-10 It looks like a chain of transient longings transfigures in perpetual reality. In short term yes but in the long run everything is false. However, we need all this to overcome the terror of existence, Zoya.

Pain is a Double-edged Sword
2007-04-14 Thoughtful. Neither 'to be' nor 'not to be' is a question. The real question is the sum of the both. Pain is necessary but not sufficient condition for pleasure.Better not try to avoid the unavoidable.

It's True
2007-03-30 "In her first passion woman loves her lover, in all the others all she loves is love." sys Lord Byron. I thought Byron was a bit emotional. I am wrong. I see Byron smile in Kathy's poem.
At the Cross Roads
2007-03-28 Ernest Hemingway used to avoid adjectives in his writing. Adjectives are biased. Good, right, wrong so and so. Think life without adjectives. 'nothing is right and nothing is wrong and only thinking makes so' says Shakespeare. Be as strong as your poetry. Happy birthday to Zoya.

Spring Dance

2007-03-27 Beautiful.
I Hate Poetry!
2007-03-27 I liked it. Hungry life becomes a poetry then the poetry turns into passion, passion into adiction and then addiction into affliction and probably affliction turns into hate and hate again turns into love. Here you go.
Colour Me
2007-03-26 poetic rays, prism, reflection, colours, life. colouring the uncolourables. life really needs a virtuoso for a better canvas. Tagore inspired me to write these words.

The Right to Write

2007-03-23 betsy, words give way to truth even if you are not. Because illusion is a reality and reality an illusion. Nothing absolute in life. thoughtful really.

Ten Thousand Flowers Wilted and Scorched
2007-03-21 Ground reality is a conspiracy to poetic beaty. no matter how a poet beautifies the world with words and images, the world is just naked in fornt of you. I also tried to explore this paradox in my recent poem "An Encounter". I dont know why this happens. Poet stands for justice . You made me recall Amrita Pritam's "Consipiracy of Silence". A poet's cry for justice. Thx Zoya.

47) This is Love
2007-03-18 Defining love with logic? I really dont know what love is. I could not define love so I became a poet. I tried to give this message in my poem- " I became a poet" Anyway you defined it. I am close to Zoya Zaidi's definition of love. It is a passion in an abatract sense and when you try to difine love in an operational sense, it is a naked need. O too much philosophy.
A strangers advice. . .

2007-03-17 Yup. Life is an audacity of hope.

2007-03-17 you made me homesick with this piece.

Poetry versus science
2007-03-16 It is the method of obervation that differentiates science from poetry. Both observe the world around you. But methods of observation are different. But science does not contradict with poetry 'cause it also begins with imagination. Science is evolutionary but poetry is totally revolutionary. If something better comes to my mind, I will share with you. a good question.

A Love Lesson
2007-03-13 I think it is not linear. It is exponential and circular in shape. beautiful piece.
A song is echoing in the Cosmic mind
2007-03-13 In my opinion, truth is independent of mind but reality not. If we try to reach truth through reality then mind dances and its twists and turns bewilder everyone.
Entirety
2007-03-12 Yeah, beauty is perceived in total. Hagi, you are a good observer.
Love, Hate and Vendetta

2007-03-12 When it comes to passion, all passions are dangerous. Anyway life is a beauty out of odds. Love is great.

A War Of Pretext
2007-03-10 If Bush prayed early in the morning, he would not fight this war. Stan! Where do you find divinity?
The answer is - corporate financial statements. We created money and now we stand helpless in front of our own creation. The war will continue.

A Loveless Story With A Happy Ending

2007-03-07 Kathy,
Let the love betray
Let the darkness block the way
Let the illusion run away
Love is divine for a poet and for those who live mundane life it is a business
